How mesh Wi-Fi is different from a single router or an extender
A single router broadcasts Wi-Fi from one spot in the house, so signal naturally gets weaker the farther you get from it, especially through walls and floors. An extender picks up that weak signal and rebroadcasts it, but it often creates a slower, separate network that your devices have trouble switching to automatically.
A mesh system uses two or more small units placed around the house that all talk to each other and act as one seamless network. Your phone or laptop connects to whichever unit is closest and switches automatically as you move from room to room, with no dead zones and no separate network name to remember.
Getting the placement right
Mesh systems only work as well as where you put them. Too far apart and the units struggle to talk to each other. Too close together and you are paying for coverage you don't need. We walk through your home, figure out where the weak spots actually are, and place each unit where it will do the most good.
