Wired or battery, mounted the right way
If your home has an existing doorbell wire, we check the voltage, connect the new doorbell to it, and confirm your chime box still works or install a plug-in chime if it does not. A wired doorbell charges itself and never needs its battery pulled.
If there is no wire, or you would rather not run one, a battery model works just as well and gives you more freedom on where to mount it. Either way, we pick the mounting spot for the best view of your porch and package deliveries, level the bracket, and seal any drilled holes against weather.
Getting the Wi-Fi and app right
A doorbell camera lives or dies by its Wi-Fi signal. We check the signal strength right at your front door before we finish the install, and if it is weak, we add a small extender or reposition your router rather than leave you with a camera that drops connection.
We then set up the app on your phone, walk you through what the alerts look like, and make sure it is truly your phone, not a household member who moved away or an old device sitting in a drawer.
Package and motion alerts that work for you
Out of the box, most doorbells notify you for every passing car and every leaf blowing by. We adjust the motion zones so the camera watches your porch and walkway, not the street, and turn on package detection so you get a distinct alert when something is dropped off.
