Setting up a new Mac or MacBook
Moving from an old Mac, or from a Windows computer, means getting your files, photos, and passwords across without losing anything or starting from scratch. We handle the migration, sign you into the accounts you actually use, and set up iCloud and Time Machine backups so the new machine is protected from day one.
When a Mac slows down or storage fills up
A Mac that used to feel fast and now takes forever to open apps or wake from sleep almost always has a fixable cause: too many things launching at startup, a browser clogged with extensions, or storage that quietly filled up with old backups and duplicate photos. We clean this out and show you what was eating the space.
- Slow startup or apps that take too long to open
- "Storage almost full" warnings
- Battery draining much faster than it used to
- Spinning wheel or beach ball that will not stop
Being honest about what needs Apple itself
Some problems, a cracked screen, a swollen battery, a logic board failure, genuinely need Apple hardware service or an authorized repair shop, and we will tell you that plainly rather than attempt a fix that will not hold. What we handle in-home is everything around that: software, settings, accounts, storage, and getting a machine ready to send in or ready to use again once it is back.
- We diagnose first and tell you honestly if Apple service is the right path
- We handle backup and setup before and after any hardware repair
- No guesswork on parts we are not equipped to replace
